About Us

Peace4Reems was set up by two mothers who wanted to convert their pain of seeing babies and children losing their lives to war on an unprecedented scale, into something positive. We decided to create products and garments in memory of those children who have lost their lives and hope to create a community of empathy, understanding and remembrance. Our products carry a profound message of remembrance and solidarity.

Who is Reem?

Three-year-old Reem was bombed in Gaza alongside her five-year-old brother Tariq whilst they were sleeping in their bed in November 2023. The iconic viral social media footage show’s Reem’s devoted Grandfather Khaled holding Reem’s lifeless body. Khaled can be seen smiling and playing with her the way he used to – rubbing his beard on her head in hope she would return the jovialness by tugging his beard. Something they both did on a regular basis to see who would let go first. Sadly, on this day and on this occasion Reem didn’t respond. She was innocently robbed of her whole life and many December birthdays she shared with her Grandfather, who she called “Yayo’i” out of love.

Why wear our brand?

Peace4Reems is more than just a fashion brand; we are dedicated to honouring the memory of Reem and all children whose lives were tragically cut short by the devastating impact of conflict. Each piece in our collection serves as a tribute to their innocence, resilience, and the enduring spirit of hope. Our artwork was created by talented designers in Palestine.

We want you to wear your support proudly, as each garment tells a story of resilience and pays homage to those who deserve to be remembered. Peace 4 All Our ‘Reems.’

100% Proceeds to Palestine Orphan and Children Fund

We dedicate all proceeds to Human Appeal’s Palestine Orphan and Children’s Fund. They have launched a campaign in Reem’s name which we are proud to support.

As the endearing Khaled says numerous times, Reem was the Soul of his Soul. We dedicate these efforts and money raised to all the Souls of our Souls.

Finally, with enough love and support from the population, we hope to open a Peace4Reems amputee hospital for injured children and babies in Gaza.
